Noticed the sort of upgrades done by FB which doesn't get very well feedback. One of the not-so-useful stuff is the Ticker. Just managed to explore & obtained the way to shut it off for good. Do refer the link below (such way only works for Chrome-tested & Firefox). I personally suggest to go for Chrome method which is easier & sounds hassle free.
For Chrome:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ldfdjdnohanpkljbgeipdoeiefheaefp
For Firefox:
1. Install Greesemonkey add-on
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/
2. Install add-on script below
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/93039
3. Restart Firefox when requested

Wanna Read Post, but don't Wanna Click LIKE in FB?
Ever encounter scenario where you find the post from your friends quite interesting, the way when you're reading from the top, then noticed the remaining content was hidden... You search for solution, then find out you need to click the Like/Share button to unlock the whole content. Sounds familiar?
Since some of my friends asking the same question, I think is easier to provide the approach in public for all.
For your information, there is a chance where such link does not carry the info as it meant to be, it could be a prank with adware which will manipulate your FB account to send the sort of post on your wall to lure more people to fall for it.
Any chance to prevent or minimize the risk? YES with major 2 steps:
1st way is to install Anti-Force Like Apps which meant for Chrome. Try google it for more info. Once done, all you have to do in future when encounter such post is just click the Like? button on top right corner of the Chrome browser and woola! The hidden content is revealed without hassle.
Most of the time the 1st approach will work, but still there are posts cannot be handled in such manner. It is time where we use some twisting method: Copy the title line text & google it! Chances are you can get the exact info from other websites in whole :)
That's all for now, hope this helps... Till then, enjoy FBing!

New FB... Things changed?!
Busy days since early of the month, but feels nice coz learned new things. With new input means possible new approach (tech or soft skills) in future.
Talking bout new stuff, we just can't missed the changes FB made lately. From the TV news report saw 2 days ago, it seems FB tend to think everyone wants to share their life history like a photo/video journal... Also the interface becomes weird when we try to re-size the browser instead of full page due to the CSS. Out of sudden all things which we are quite used to are gone...
I saw posts from friends stating the new design is confusing & not user friendly. Not sure what the majority thinks about this, but I guess we might need to stick to current phase as FB is offered FOC thus can't ask for too much. Will it win users heart? Hard to tell, but I really prefer previous version.
Seems like google+ enters the field makes FB alert. Thinking to register an account to try it out...

Some Ways to Explore FB Better
1 week holiday coming soon. Vacation planned? Checked. Money ready? Err... Working on it. Ok, back to main topic, let's talk about some ways to utilize FB better:
1st approach is to define the proper public viewable information. Go to the Account -> Privacy Settings and select Custom Definition. Recommended to set it viewable by friends only. Meanwhile for Connecting to FB, you may set it according to your preference depends on how many info (e.g friend list, education & work, current city & hometown etc.) you wish to reveal.
Next is have a proper friend list maintenance. You may have plenty of added friends (or even people you never meet but simply approved their friend request), but from time flies you might have problem to keep track with actual friends & idle contacts. Since FB doesn't have a precise friend category definition to separate friends according to level of interest, thus it is advisable to isolate unnecessary people within your contact list. You may do the housekeeping say 3-4 months once. If you still prefer to have lots of followers from unknown places (since you don't even bother), you may consider to create another FB account for such purpose...
While you remove some contacts from the list, ever wonder who else remove you from theirs? Now you can do this in easy way by using a browser add on feature called Unfriend Finder. Try Google it for more detail. I'll advice to use it in Chrome (easiest deployment) or Firefox. Once done, you may see something like this:

Simply by clicking the Unfriends button listed, you can see who removed you from their list. Sounds a bit harsh, but I prefer better know it sooner than later.
Last but not least, a friendly reminder to all FB user try not to post discriminative & aggressive info/comments, lets make FB a better place?

Daily Progress
Just managed to finish the website design update as per requested by client. Feels relief while learned some new approaches on website design (although is not complex but still feel happy).
However there is some issue which I feel hesitate to take action. This is somehow 1st time I have such feeling... The reason? Whichever approach I opt for will bring me negative impact. Seems like I'm stuck at the middle now.
It brings me back to the day when I decided to start my own business: To Provide Better Service to All Clients. I strongly feel it is more crucial to meet client's requirement apart others. If client faces problem, it is our duty to find solution within our capability. Decent client will surely appreciate our effort, meanwhile we might learn new tricks & gained knowledge.
I'm not sure how many out there will agree with such approach, but I prefer to work in a humble manner...

Get Ready to Spend Money...
Thinking to keep the PC keep going the further mile? Then you might need to do some investment on internal tuning.
As what I noticed recently during the cases I encountered, PCs with roughly 5 years span & above might reach their limit. If you noticed the PC got problem (mostly can't go into the Windows system), maybe it's time to replace new parts to make it revive.
Keep in mind the replacement cost might be around RM400-600 depend on how many parts that need to be replace (motherboard, processor & RAM mainly). I've tried to look for compatible parts to minimize the expenses but it seems like the manufacturer has stop producing the previous models. You may try your luck with 2nd hand parts but usually the price is not cheap, further more the warranty period they can provide is around 1 month...
Any suggestion on keeping PC lifespan longer? You can consider to apply voltage regulator, also avoid the usage during thunder storm (best is shutdown the system & unplug all respective appliances).
