Will AI replace human?

Heard an interview via BFM yesterday morning where guests from IBM discussing their latest achievement with the AI system called Watson which won the game show Jeopardy.

One key note of what Watson managed to do is that it learns to understand human language & managed to perform analysis on complex question & provide a viable answer (something like doing searching via search engine, just that now you can verbally instruct the computer to do so)

Seems like technology has advanced to another new level. But does this means it can replace human in upper positions (those who need to make crucial decision for a company)?

Although the guests stated this is not their intention, but who knows what the bosses think? Maybe they might consider to go for a non-human CEO, CFO, COO......

To me I think human is irreplaceable, because making decision isn't solely rely on logic as we have emotions & chances to take risks. Maybe we can take the answers provided by such advanced computer for reference purpose, but not totally agree with it. Further more if we stop using our brain to think & leave all jobs to the AI, we'll stop advancing & become dependent (acceptable case is a future like WALLY, worse is like TERMINATOR......)

Holiday!

Just packed up all the stuff & managed to complete taxing submission. Also I've informed all key clients that I'll be away until next week (or month).

Looking forward on the short break. The rest leaves to the organizer. So see you guys when back!
