In-direct enforcement of TimeLine

Just noticed something today when I saw a friend's post in FB. He placed a link to Yahoo's news which I find interesting thus click the title to open it.

What happened was another Message Window pop up saying in order to proceed, I need to upgrade my FB account for TimeLine feature... Is this some sort of agreement done between Yahoo & FB? I don't find any technical specific reasons to do so.

I believe some of my friends who are now in TimeLine mode not aware what causes the changes since they never self willing to change it. Now I think this could be one of the reason what happened. Currently I don't have any technical steps to prevent such approach, the best way is the practice: Don't click the Agree to Changes button when saw it if you prefer to remain in old fashion FB layout.

I Want the Old Facebook Wall Outlook...

Yeah, it's about FB again...

Yeah, I skipped 1 month post. Sorry...

Yeah, the truth is, there is no way (so far I've not tested with my account coz mine still good old wall post, lol) to revert from Timeline to previous wall post feature...

Anyway to solve this?

From my findings, there seems to be a way (this one I've tested myself thus confirmed working), but is targeted to user's own viewing & not public alteration. Just a simple method which is...

USE IE6 / IE7

Easy, right? Try it out, it works, but only you yourself see it, so if others wanna view your FB in wall mode, they need to use IE6/IE7 as well.

There are other methods listed on internet, but be warned upfront: Try at your own risk :)

2012 Coming Soon...

Today is 31 Dec 2011. Gosh, time does flies...

Any new year resolution? Guess enjoy life to fullest as usual :)

Just bought an Android Tablet as new toy. It is in 8.7 inch and in elegant shape thus suitable for multimedia purpose such as watch videos, play games & also simple office documentation. That should round up what I need so far as a time killer tool when idle.

So far I managed to get lots of apps from the popular Market & other websites as well, guess still a lot to explore on this new set... Maybe I can share some ideas when I got more findings.

Just wanna take this opportunity to thank all parties who supported me for the whole year 2011, looking forward to serve you all better in coming year :)

Happy New Year!!!

Crazy price hike for HDD lately...

Just noticed the price for all hard disc went up in drastic mode. The difference is per daily, and the price stated in price list is not the actual selling price...

Currently the price dated 12.11.2011 was 2.5 times the usual price. Reason? The shop claimed shortage is due to flood problem at Thailand. But how come the one I newly bought shown the product is from Malaysia dated July 2011...?

They even said it is better to keep some stock which can earn some extra later... Seems like keeping some HDD is better than buying gold, hahaha...

Arrrgh... No more Tickers!

Noticed the sort of upgrades done by FB which doesn't get very well feedback. One of the not-so-useful stuff is the Ticker. Just managed to explore & obtained the way to shut it off for good. Do refer the link below (such way only works for Chrome-tested & Firefox). I personally suggest to go for Chrome method which is easier & sounds hassle free.

For Chrome:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ldfdjdnohanpkljbgeipdoeiefheaefp

For Firefox:
1. Install Greesemonkey add-on
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/

2. Install add-on script below

3. Restart Firefox when requested
